The Village of Morrill Board of Trustees opened a public hearing on the village’s tax authority Sept. 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the Morrill American Legion, with Chairman Joseph Conrad presiding and Village Clerk Janine K. Schmidt recording the proceedings. Member Hart moved to open the hearing, and Member Purviance seconded; the motion passed unanimously. "Moved by Member Hart and seconded by Member Purviance to open the Public Hearing for the Tax Authority Hearing at 6:00 p.m.," the minutes record.
