Staff presented Visit Golden's DataFi visitor report and outlined how the vendor combines anonymized cell‑phone pings, credit‑card transactions and, increasingly, vehicle-computer data to estimate visitation and visitor spending. The presentation included year‑over‑year comparisons showing largely steady visitor counts but a modest drop in per‑visitor spending.
