The Saunders County Board of Supervisors opened a public hearing Aug. 25 to review the proposed 2026–27 appropriation of funds, with Supervisor Smaus moving to open the hearing and Supervisor Albrecht seconding. Chairman Lutton and all seven supervisors were present; the motion to open carried unanimously at 6:03 p.m.
