Community Crossing project to start; two short-term road closures announced
The town's Community Crossing road project begins next week with a target completion date of Aug. 1, 2026. Officials announced closures on CR 1050 S to CR 750 W (July 21–30) and Mahoney's Corner on 800 (July 14–16) related to construction and a water tie-in.

Carl Marlett of the Street Department told the council the Community Crossing project is scheduled to begin next week and aims to finish by Aug. 1, 2026, weather permitting. "The first one is CR 1050 S to CR 750 W related to the Community Crossing Project. Will be closed from July 21, 2026 to July 30, 2026," Marlett said.
