City Clerk KyLee Stone presented program finances for LEAP (summer programming): 30 children enrolled, two scholarships awarded, $1,320 collected in fees, total salaries of $7,751.51 and total program expense of $2,518.84; the clerk recommended raising program fees if LEAP continues. Councilmember Ulery urged caution before eliminating the program and suggested modifying it; council agreed to place further LEAP discussion on the August agenda.
