Early in the reconsideration, Commissioner Krista Joseph asked who assisted Commissioner Christian Whitehurst in preparing his remarks and moved to censure him, saying he "wasted everyone's time" by bringing the items back. The motion to censure failed for lack of a second. Whitehurst characterized parts of the exchange as political and thanked commissioners who provided evidentiary material for deliberation.
