County approves several small change orders and a time extension for local projects
On Sept. 21 commissioners approved change orders for Bridge 37 ($3,481.60), small structures JA005 ($402.92) and JA027 ($750), plus a five‑day time extension for the 400 East/400 South roundabout (no additional cost).

Jerry Lopez (S11) requested execution of multiple change orders on behalf of county highway staff. For Bridge 37 he said additional striping work performed at the county's request by contractor HIS produced a $3,481.60 increase in materials and labor. He also requested change order approvals for small structure JA005 ($402.92 for additional riprap) and JA027 ($750 for additional clearing work). All three change orders were approved by the commission.
