A committee member asked why multiple payroll-deduction entries on the voucher run carried asterisks, saying they had not seen the notation before and could not find a corresponding footnote. "What are all the asterisks for after a number of these line item entries on page 1, like Gleaner, union dues, etcetera?" the member asked.
