The Hanover Planning Commission on May 27 recommended approval of a variance requested by Bellin Construction for lots at 291 and 335 Liberty Drive after staff and the developer described why the final two lots did not meet Planned Unit Development (PUD) setback requirements. The developer and planning staff told the commission that mixed setback options chosen earlier in the project and site-specific constraints, such as drainage and prior house placements, left lots 14 and 15 without the required separation between structures.
