The Chair opened the Sept. 17, 2026 meeting of the Dane County Environment, Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee and introduced a referral described as "2026 operating amendment O17." The Chair said, "This is amending chapter 49 of the Dane County code of ordinances regarding agriculture performance standards and manure management." The committee recorded affirmative responses and approved the referral.
