County approves plumbing purchase and access‑control contract for FLCC campuses

Staff presented two vendor actions for campus maintenance and security. The first authorizes a purchase from GEC Plumbing & Heating Supply for a backflow preventer feeding the main water line to the campus at a cost of $19,858.02; staff said county personnel will perform the installation. The second is a contract with LandTech Security to extend access control to 4 doors at the Viticulture and Wine Center in Geneva, 6 doors at a nursing department at the main campus and 6 doors at the Geneva campus for a total contract of $47,151.50.
