Commissioners authorize county counsel to file RCRA complaint over Bector Power Plant issues
Following executive session the board authorized Keating, Muting & Kleekamp to file a complaint under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (42 U.S.C. §6972) in U.S. District Court concerning alleged hazardous-material storage and groundwater contact at the Bector Power Plant; motion passed unanimously.

After returning from executive session, the board voted to authorize the law firm Keating, Muting & Kleekamp to file a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (42 U.S.C. §6972) and affiliated causes of action, and to designate the firm as authorized legal representative for the county in those proceedings.
