Commission keeps historical allocation split for Title 3 Secure Rural Schools funds
The commission voted to set the county’s preferred Title 3 allocation percentages at the historical split (Title 1 85%, Title 2 8%, Title 3 7%) and directed the treasurer to submit the allocation election to the state treasurer's office.

County finance staff explained July 21 that the county’s Title 3 allocations under the Secure Rural Schools Act follow a long-standing distribution pattern and that there is limited flexibility to reallocate between titles. Staff recommended retaining the historical percentages, noting small possible shifts would not materially change outcomes.
