Staff told the committee the state requested that additional design costs be counted as part of the county's matching share for a DEC grant tied to Deep Run Park. A presenter explained the initial consultant work refined the concept plan and additional design services required a contract amendment. "So there is 1,700,000 in the project budget, so enough to cover, it's more than cover the additional match of $87,100," the presenter said.
