Oklahoma County defers decision on workers' compensation projection
Commissioners deferred action on the workers' compensation cash-transfer target after members requested additional consultation with the county administrator before lowering the reserve amount.

The board reviewed workers' compensation projections and a suggestion to reduce the cash-transfer target from $715,000 to $615,000 in pursuit of savings. One commissioner asked to consult with the appropriate administrator (John Wilkerson) before approving any change, and the board moved and seconded a motion to defer the item to a later meeting.
