The Malabar Town Council on Aug. 17 adopted Resolution 12-2026 to update the Building Department fee schedule following changes required by HB 399 and HB 803. Town Manager Lisa Morrell said municipalities must set permit fees to reflect actual costs rather than a valuation-based fee.
