ADRC committee approves new mileage share for Volunteer Escort Ride program
The committee voted to change the volunteer escort payment policy: clients who drive 0–500 miles in a calendar year will pay one‑third of mileage at the IRS rate; clients at 501+ miles pay the full IRS rate. The change was approved by unanimous vote.

The Oneida County ADRC committee voted Aug. 24 to change the client payment schedule for the Volunteer Escort Ride program. Under the adopted rule, clients who use escort rides for 0–500 miles in a calendar year will pay one‑third of mileage at the Internal Revenue Service mileage rate; clients who use 501 or more miles in a year will pay the full IRS rate.
