The Franklin County Commission opened its meeting by seeking nominations for chairman pro tem and completed the election by acclamation. Commissioner Johnson nominated Scottie Beals, seconded by Commissioner Wiseman; the record then shows the chair calling the vote and the body electing Commissioner Riddle as chairman pro tem. "All in favor for mister Riddle to serve as chairman pro temps, say aye," the presiding speaker said, and later added, "Congratulations, mister Riddle."
