Board appoints slate of Region 22 LEPC representatives
The commissioners appointed 13 representatives to the Region 22 Local Emergency Planning Committee, naming members from schools, hospitals, public health, fire, EMS, airport and media to formalize the area's emergency-planning roster.

Robert Crowder, the county's emergency-management director, presented a slate of Region 22 Local Emergency Planning Committee nominees and read the names into the record for appointment. The list included representatives from Scottsbluff Public Schools, Regional West Medical Center, Panhandle Public Health, the Scottsbluff Fire Department, the National Weather Service and local media among others.
