The board received a technical briefing on the town's network-segmentation project aimed at improving cybersecurity across municipal sites. The IT presenter said the team had deployed nine firewalls (seven upgrades and two new units) and was implementing Cisco-based segmentation that will separate servers from workstations and centralize management behind one login.
