Ashley Mothena, Assistant Resident Engineer for VDOT, briefed the Board on maintenance and forthcoming projects, noting that Route 311 (Craig Valley Drive / Paint Bank Road) is scheduled for resurfacing in 2026 and that the project will include an updated, high‑visibility crosswalk at the school bus stop. She said materials have been ordered and stakeholder coordination is complete and that VDOT is exploring sight‑distance improvements and reflective striping for the stop sign.
