Environmental staff recommended and the board approved a one‑year extension of the Sauk River Watershed Collaborative FY24 WBAF grant from Dec. 31, 2026, to Dec. 31, 2027, so available funds do not lapse and projects can continue.

Environmental Services staff asked the board to extend a county agreement so watershed project funds remain available. Emily Forbord, an environmental specialist, told commissioners the current grant was set to expire Dec. 31, 2026, and recommended a one‑year extension to Dec. 31, 2027 to keep the work moving.
