The Dubois County Council voted to allocate $35,000 to fund a comprehensive plan and ordinance work and to set up an advisory planning commission to provide recommendations on large-scale projects. Chair introduced the item and said the money would be used to create the legal framework and commission structure; the contract figure cited in the meeting was $28,000 with a $7,000 cushion to reach $35,000.
