The East Baton Rouge Parish School Board on Sept. 17 approved a professional-services contract with Eisner Advisory Group LLC, not to exceed $125,000, to develop a five-year financial forecast. Freddie Smith, representing Eisner, told board members the work would provide longer-range projections to help the district plan for several tax sources that are scheduled to expire within the next five years.
