Maple Plain council accepts 2025 audit; auditors issue clean opinion

CLA auditors presented the City of Maple Plain’s 2025 audit and delivered an unmodified (clean) opinion. Troy, the engagement principal, told the council the auditors found full cooperation from management and that the opinion indicated no class-of-transaction misstatements. The auditors noted two items: limited supporting documentation for a few pension census data items and a prior-period adjustment to special assessments to move revenue into the proper year.
