Public commenters used the meeting's public-comment period to raise several operational concerns. A Zoom caller urged the commission to act on DTE rate increases and said she had reported alleged abuse by private security guards but had not received satisfactory responses from county law enforcement or court officials; she also criticized replacing in-room court reporters with Zoom recordings, saying that remote recordings produce inaccurate transcripts. "They won't even tell... who called security on me... that should not be allowed in the Wayne County... building," she said, and warned about difficulties scheduling recordings reviews.
