At the commission meeting MNIT staff described the state's cybersecurity training and awareness program as continuous and enterprise-wide. Presenters said training is not "once and done" but delivered through quarterly newsletters, monthly phishing simulations, targeted modules for employees handling HIPAA or PCI data, and annual compliance training in partnership with Minnesota Management and Budget (MMB).
