The board on Aug. 3 declared itself lead agency for the amended site‑plan review of Martin's Bakery, located at 660 Sawmill River Road, and directed the applicant to deposit $5,000 in an escrow account to fund engineering review. The resolution also referred the proposal to the Board of Architectural Review for facade and exterior comment and scheduled a public hearing for Sept. 8 at 7:30 p.m.
