Town Marshal Jared Kirby reported that the Montgomery County Sheriff's mobile speed trailer recorded 33,199 southbound cars and 35,982 northbound cars between June 19 and July 10; the average speed was 44.26 mph and the highest recorded speed northbound was 111 mph. He also said the town responded to 30 calls for service in July.
