The Wingate Town Council received a detailed update on the planned park project that included bids from Biddle Construction and next steps for permitting and funding. Member Curt Hadley said the bid package was nearly complete and that a $15,000 bond check had been submitted; he said contract execution has been signed and the bid package will be sent to HWC for review.
