District finance staff recommended the board adopt the maximum levy limit for taxes payable in 2027 to allow final certification by the Minnesota Department of Education and county officials. Christopher Robshaw told the board the calculated levy figure was $171,400,000 and framed the proposed maximum limit as a 1.5% increase in the district’s levy ceiling. "We are setting a maximum levy with an increase of just 1.5%. So the calculated levy currently at 171,400,000 for next year," Robshaw said.
