Council amends committee chairs in Resolution 2-2026
Councilmembers voted unanimously to amend Resolution 2-2026, reassigning several committee chairs: Doug Lee was removed as Public Works chair and Dan Wegener was added, Troy Justmann was replaced by Bob Chapman on Personnel, and Wegener was replaced by Justmann on Recreation.

The Juneau Common Council considered and approved amendments to Resolution 2-2026 concerning committee appointments. Michael Cypert moved an amendment to change several chair assignments; Doug Lee was removed as chair of Public Works and Dan Wegener was added as chair, Troy Justmann was replaced by Bob Chapman as Personnel chair, and Dan Wegener was removed as Recreation chair with Troy Justmann named in that role. The amended resolution passed unanimously (6-0).
