Commissioners appoint members to multiple ESD boards
The court approved appointments and reappointments across several Emergency Services Districts (ESDs), including initial board members for new ESD No. 6 and reappointments for ESDs 2 and 5, with motions made and approved by the court.

The Newton County Commissioners Court approved a series of appointments to local Emergency Services Districts. For ESD Number 5 the court moved to appoint Daniel Burks, Tisha (or Cecil) Williams and Jimmy Williams to serve as commissioners, filling a vacancy left by Norman Williams' death and reappointing two existing commissioners.
