City Clerk Lauren Garrett proposed replacing the city’s aging auto-read water-meter system with a cloud-based Flex Read platform accessible via web browser on multiple devices. Councilmember Eddie Blackwell moved to "approve the upgrade to the Flex Read system in the amount of $4,650 for the first year." Councilmember Michael Greene seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
