Boca Raton CRA recommends downtown plan edits to match next year’s CIP

The CRA voted 5–0 to recommend city council adopt amendments to Section 11 of the downtown plan that remove three projects and add two new capital projects to align the plan with the FY 2026–27 capital improvement program.

The Boca Raton Community Redevelopment Agency voted unanimously to recommend adoption of Resolution 202606CRA, a technical update to Section 11 of the downtown plan that adjusts the list of specific redevelopment projects to match the CRA capital improvement program and the upcoming fiscal-year budget. Steven Timberlake, special projects manager, told the board the changes do not alter the plan’s goals or policies but reflect the projects carried in the CIP.
