Pierce County commissioners approved a county-only Scrap Tire Collection to be held Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at the Pierce County District 1 Shop in Plainview. The motion was made by Commissioner John Steinkraus and seconded by Commissioner Carl Martinson; the board voted 3-0 to approve the date and residency restriction.
