Commission hears expanded paving plan, cautions on contract timing

The Culver County Highway Commission voted to approve its agenda and then spent substantial time reviewing a broad paving list and near-term schedule. Agency official said crews had prepared shoulders on multiple routes and planned to start paving as early as next week after a temporary repair to a paver’s wheel assembly: "So, hopefully, we can start paving next week." The official said Beech Grove would be the starting area, with work progressing toward Hillsborough and finishing the season in Hillsborough.
