The Town of Madawaska Select Board voted to authorize soliciting bids for a makerspace project funded by a $2.1 million CDS grant after an engineer described a revised design and the board requested additional clarifications. Engineer Brent Bridges presented the updated plan, saying the building would be moved downward from the Fish River building, include an upper open pavilion “program space” and unloading area, and would not include an elevator or a commercial kitchen.
