Board holds two closed sessions on litigation strategy; no action taken

Chairwoman Heather Knebel stated the board would enter closed session under Iowa Code 21.5(1)(c) to discuss strategy with counsel in matters presently in litigation or where litigation is imminent. The board first entered closed session at 9:47 a.m.; the roll-call recorded Supervisors Curt Hilmer, David Turner, Heather Knebel, Mark Doland and Curt Kupka voting aye to go into closed session. The board returned to open session at 10:02 a.m.; Attorney Stuart Cochrane had been unavailable by phone for the first session.
