Commission sets application deadline and special session to appoint Circuit Court Clerk

The commission accepted applications for the Circuit Court Clerk position through Sept. 21, 2012 and scheduled a special called session on Oct. 1, 2012 at 8:30 a.m. in room 312 of the Anderson County Courthouse to appoint a new clerk. Commissioner Rick Meredith moved the schedule and the motion carried; the minutes record a roll-call vote showing broad support with one recorded no vote (Fritts) and one absence (Shuey).
