The Burke County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved a Bond Resolution related to an expansion by Ritz Instrument Transformers. Development Authority Director Austin Stacy advised the board the resolution required a signature because Burke County will act as the taxing entity and a roadway extension is needed to support the expansion. Commissioner R. Tommy Nix moved to approve the resolution and Commissioner Terri Lodge Kelly seconded; the motion passed without opposition.
