Selectboard approves Covered Bridge Half Marathon permit with signage condition

The Selectboard reviewed the Covered Bridge Half Marathon permit application and agreed the proposal was substantially the same as last year’s. Chair Benjamin Brickner moved approval, and Selectboard member Meg Emmons seconded; the motion passed unanimously. The board imposed the same condition as the prior year that signs announcing the event be posted along the Pomfret route one week before the event.
