Council's harbor report flagged a pressing infrastructure problem at the fuel dock: divers found the pilings deteriorating enough to raise safety concerns and the need for repair. The harbor representative said, "Pilings are disintegrating, and, we really need to take some action on that, sooner than later," and urged staff to pursue a thorough engineering analysis. Council agreed to authorize staff to contact PND (which did prior dock work) to scope the problem and return cost estimates.
