Clerk Janine K. Schmidt told trustees the village has received notices of electrical price increases for 2026 from both the Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) and the Municipal Energy Agency of Nebraska (MEAN). Schmidt said she has reached out to obtain quotes from both companies for an "actual rate study" and that the results will be presented at the April meeting.
