The chair opened the Sept. 21 meeting of the Scituate Zoning Board of Appeals by welcoming attendees and requesting that members and participants interact politely, even when they disagree. The chair said the board is "committed to providing an environment of respect during [the] meeting," and asked that marginalized and minoritized community members feel welcome.
