Commission to renew workforce partnership; requests presentation and oversight details

Commissioners agreed to move forward with renewing the county's partnership with Kansas Workforce (formerly Heartland Works) but asked that the organization come to present its services and explain benefits and reporting measures to the commission before re-signing in force. One commissioner said the county's prior membership paperwork looks essentially the same as the 2024 agreement and recommended rejoining while scheduling a presentation.
