The Saunders County Board of Supervisors accepted the proposed Fiscal Year 2026–2027 county budget and authorized submission to the State during its July 28 meeting. Joni Cantrall of Shaw, Hull & Navarrette, CPAs PC presented the proposed budget and noted it was placed on file in the County Clerk's office "as per State Statute $23-906," according to the minutes.
