On July 14 the board entered executive session at 10:28 a.m. to discuss the Berggren Architects contract under the stated reason of protecting the public interest. The board exited the session at 10:35 a.m. with no decisions reported from the closed session itself but then voted to send a letter from the County Attorney to Berggren Architects cancelling the contract effective July 28, 2026.
