Severance approves three‑year CDBG intergovernmental agreement with Weld County

Town management recommended that Severance continue participating in Weld County's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, which pools HUD funds that municipalities may apply for to finance projects such as sidewalks, parks, water lines and community centers for low‑income residents. "Weld County participates in the community development block grant program where they receive funds from the federal government for HUD funding," Town Manager Wharton said in presenting the IGA.
