A regional service provider representative (speaker 14) told the Raleigh County Commission on Sept. 28 that the statewide funding wait list for certain Medicaid waivers sits at 5,348 and that the person waiting longest has been on the list for nearly 10 years. The presenter said the provider's internal wait list also includes roughly 75 people and that the organization currently has about 89 open positions (about 39 full-time equivalents) it cannot fill.
